Oceans extend over 70% of the Planet Earth and is believed to be the home of over 20.000 fish species and 1.98 million species of animals and plants. Such habitat is an untapped resource that has the potential to be the future main source of healthy sustainable protein for the planet. Currently, only few species are commercially exploited. Lectures will go over the main marine species produced and the methods that are cultured in as well as the practical applications from the production of such species.
